49ers to use "hot hand" approach

Offensive coordinator Greg Roman stated “If somebody’s hot, we've got to stay with the hot hand and try to have a plan ahead of time, though, to where we can utilize each player in a specific manner. Things change in the course of a game, so we’ll see how that goes.†(The San Jose Mercury News)
Fantasy Impact:
This seems like coachspeak, but it could point to increased faith in LaMichael James and Carlos Hyde. However, brush this off, as Gore is an absolute bulldog of a runner, and he is the boss of the backfield until further notice. A high end RB2 for the rest of the season, the putrid Cowboy defense will give Gore an excellent chance to be the first with the "hot hand". Gore is a must start in all formats in Week 1.
