Josh Gordon has "no plans" to sue NFL

by Graham Barfield | Sat, Sep 6th 11:07am EDT

Josh Gordon told ESPN's Elizabeth Merrill that he does not plan on suing the NFL over his one year-ban for substance abuse. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

"The whole being in limbo thing, I'm over it," Gordon said. "I'm not waiting on the edge of my seat anymore." If Josh Gordon did indeed file an injunction against the NFL, it would have temporarily allowed him to play while the case was contested. Now, the only way Gordon sees the field in 2014 is if the NFLPA and the NFL agrees to a brand new drug policy. If the language in the deal applies retroactively to players that were suspended for substance abuse this year, Gordon's suspension could be reduced or wiped away. On the small chance that his suspension is reduced or abolished, Gordon is well worth a stash at the end of your fantasy bench.
