333 passing yards from Brees not enough to beat Falcons

by Hilton Guidry | Mon, Sep 8th 7:18am EDT

"It reminds me of the game that we played here back in 2010," said Brees, who threw for 333 yards and a touchdown. "We went into overtime, we got the fumble, we kicked a field goal and we won. So, this matchup has gone back and forth quite a bit. Obviously, we've won our fair share. Unfortunately, we just fell a little short today." (NOLA.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Brees did throw one costly pick, but otherwise turned in a good fantasy day. Next week Brees will go against a Cleveland defense that gave up 365 passing yards to Ben Roethlisberger in week 1. He should be a top play next week.
