Davis turned his 6 targets into 4 receptions for 44 yards and 2 touchdowns to open the Niners' season. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Davis once again showed why he's a top 6 TE. It was great to see him get as many targets as he got in only 23 pass attempts. Lots had been made about his decrease in production with Crabtree in the lineup, but he proved how explosive he was on Sunday and should continue to produce well all year.
