Coach McCarthy says Lacy progressing

In this afternoon's press conference, Coach McCarthy said that RB Eddie Lacy was progressing quickly and he believed he was near the end of the concussion protocol. (Paul Imig on Twitter)

This is an optimistic sign for Lacy owners who feared the RB would miss time. It now appears that Lacy is nearing the end of the concussion protocol and could get a green light to play against a tough New York Jets defense this week. Continue to track Lacy's status, if he is a no go RB James Starks could get the starting nod.
