Patterson is motivated by what he views as a snub by Belichick

"I've seen a little article today where Belichick, I think he said he didn't want me," Patterson said on Thursday. "So that's the kind of things that stick in the back of a player's head. And you get out there, you just want to beat the defense up since people say things like that." (Twin Cities)

Fantasy Impact:

The Patriots originally owned the No. 29 pick in the first round of the 2013 draft. The Vikings then traded them four picks to move up and select Patterson. Patterson feels snubbed, but he really wasn't, New England just had other defensive needs at the time. Either way Patterson has been unstoppable his past six games. According to ESPN Stats and Information, the 2nd-year speedster has averaged a TD every 4.6 touches in that span. Patterson's high-upside makes him a must start despite a tough matchup ahead against Darelle Revis.
