Le'Veon Bell

Bell solid in limited action against Baltimore in Week 2

by Eric McQuillen | Fri, Sep 12th 3:05pm EDT

Le'Veon Bell toted the ball 11 times for 59 yards and caught all five balls that were thrown his way for 48 yards.

Fantasy Impact:

This game should have been bigger for Bell, but the Steelers got down early and had to pass more than expected. Bell looked solid running the ball, showing his elusiveness and making defenders miss with his nasty cut moves while averaging over 5 YPC against a tough Baltimore front seven. He has quickly gained trust for fantasy owners to be plugged in as a solid low-end RB1 and with upside to be a top-5 fantasy RB as seen in Week 1 versus the Cleveland Browns. Bell faces a stout Carolina Panthers defense in Week 3, but can not be benched given his play thus far, especially in deeper leagues and those that awards points per receptions (PPR). LeGarrette Blount has looked mediocre at best and is showing no signs of significantly cutting into Bell's production as a fantasy RB.
