Hopkins' 12 yard score saves fantasy owners

by Aaron Hemenway | Titans Correspondent | Sun, Sep 14th 10:31pm EDT

The second-year wideout racked up a mere 22 yards, securing three-of-five targets. Fortunately, he saved himself and fantasy owners from what would have been a disappointing day with a 12 yard TD catch in the third quarter, adding to the dominance over the now 0-2 Raiders. (HoustonTexans.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Hopkins' TD resulted from a perfectly placed, back-shoulder throw by Ryan Fitzpatrick on the right side of the end zone. While he now has two touchdowns through two games, his lack of targets implies this pace is unlikely to continue. Hopkins will be a low-end WR3 in Week 3 when the Texans travel to MetLife Stadium and take on the Giants.
