Rudolph leads Vikings in targets in Week 2

by Kevin C. Wilson | Mon, Sep 15th 1:27am EDT

Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph turned a team-high eight targets into five catches for 53 yards in a loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Even though he didn't score it was encouraging to see Rudolph get more involved in the offense in Week 2. He increased his catches (2 to 5) and targets (4 to 8) as well as his receiving yards (16 to 53). If Peterson is out for an extended period of time Rudolph could become an even bigger part of the Vikings' offense if they choose to lean more heavily on the passing game. Either way Rudolph remains a reliable starting TE in the majority of fantasy leagues.
