According to ESPN, RB Ryan Mathews suffered a grade 2 right MCL sprain and could be out around 4 weeks. Head coach Mike McCoy wouldn't speculate how long Mathews would actually be out and that every player heals at a different speed. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Running backs Donald Brown and Danny Woodhead will try to fill the void left by Mathews. Initially it looks like Brown could get the most carries, although coach McCoy stated there would be various rotations in a given week.
