Devontae Booker to miss extensive time with injury

by Anthony Cervino | Thu, Jul 27th 6:24am EDT

Denver Broncos beat writer Mike Klis is reporting running back Devontae Booker (wrist) is suffering from a wrist injury that could sideline him for the next six-to-eight weeks. (9News.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Per Klis, Booker began "feeling discomfort" in his wrist at OTAs that lingered up to this point. The team conducted tests on the wrist in which a fracture was diagnosed late Wednesday night. Klis is adding that Booker "could miss the first game or two of the regular season" as a result. Expect Booker to land on the PUP list with training camp set to begin Thursday. His injury could also solidify a roster spot for Jamaal Charles -- who was rumored to be on the roster bubble -- if his health remains in tact.
