Le'Veon Bell not expected to report to camp

by Anthony Cervino | Thu, Jul 27th 8:19am EDT

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that because Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell has yet to sign his franchise tag, he is not expected to report to training camp. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It comes to no surprise that Bell is expected to be a no-show at camp. Not only did Bell and the Steelers fail to come to terms on a long-term deal by the July 17 deadline for franchise tagged players to receive an extension, but he still hasn't signed his tender. However, there has not been any rumors that the elusive rusher will hold out and he could wait until mid-August to ultimately report, as many veterans choose to do in his situation. Rookie James Connor and Fitzgerald Toussaint could see extended reps with the first team while Bell is absent.
