Miami Dolphins fail to get in rhythm, fall to Kansas City Chiefs

by Jeffrey Lee Colavecchio | Titans Correspondent | Sun, Sep 21st 9:05pm EDT

Ryan Tannehill completed 21 of 43 for 191 yards. Lamar Miller ran for 108 yards on 15 carries in the losing effort. The loss dropped Miami to 1-2. The Chiefs won for the first time this year. Drops, poor special teams play and conservative decisions kept the Dolphins scoreless for most of the first half. (Miami Herald)

Fantasy Impact:

Tannehill looked very tentative today, even during garbage time with KC up twelve and three minutes to go. His pocket presence seems to be at a mediocre level and never creates extra time for his WR's down field. On the one long ball thrown Wallace's way, it sailed over his head out of bounds. There is a lot of football left, but right now Tannehill does not look like the Dolphins' franchise quarterback of the future. He is definitely not a starting quarterback on your fantasy squad.
