Cruz breaks out with 5/107/1 against Texans in Week 3

by Nick Ritrivi | Mon, Sep 22nd 8:08am EDT

The Giants' resurgence on offense continued its upward trend into Week 3 against Houston. Victor Cruz caught 5 of 6 targets, for 107 yards and a TD, including a 61-yard first quarter play.

Fantasy Impact:

Cruz's numbers may have even been better had he not been caught on the 61-yard play which took the Giants down to Houston's 15 yard line. As the offense and OL continue to come together, Cruz should continue to post solid numbers as the Giants' primary WR. In Week 4, Cruz and the Giants face the Redskins who just gave up 325 passing yards to Nick Foles and the Eagles. Cruz should be considered a solid WR2 option for Week 4.
