Rodgers struggles in loss to Detroit

by Dakota Mitchell | Jets Correspondent | Mon, Sep 22nd 10:53am EDT

Aaron Rodgers completed 16-of-27 passes for 162 yards with one touchdown and zero interceptions.

Fantasy Impact:

Rodgers looked off at times and missed a few throws that he usually makes. The game-plan seemed to be to establish the run early to neutralize the pass rush, but that never materialized. With Detroit's strong front-seven, and a lack of Packers' running game, the Lions were able to pin their ears back and bring the pressure. Rodgers' protection struggled at times to keep him upright, but Rodgers has been known to overcome that in the past. Still, there is no reason to worry here, Rodgers remains an elite QB1 despite the two weak performances this year. Rodgers should have a great opportunity to bounce back against Chicago in Week 4.
