Vikings CB Captain Munnerlyn was called for unnecessary roughness for slamming Brees to the turf in the third quarter. Brees reaction to the slam seemed to wake up a sleeping Saints offense as they rolled the Vikes in a 20 - 9 victory. (NOLA.com)

The penalty gave the Saints a 1st down and Brees quickly followed it up with a with a 19-yard completion to Brandin Cooks and an 18-yard touchdown to Marques Colston. Brees faces a Cowboys team that he is 4-2 against with an average of 347 yards passing with 16 total touchdowns.
