Fans chant for Vick, Smith feels pressure in loss to Lions

New York Jets fans began chanting for Michael Vick, after a poor performance by Geno Smith helped the team to their third loss this season. Smith completed 17 of 33 passes for 209 yards and a touchdown, and also threw an interception and fumbled the ball. Smith was back in the spotlight after the game when he swore at a fan - although he later apologised in the team's press conference for his actions. (New York Daily News)
Fantasy Impact:
Smith is unreliable at the quarterback position both for the Jets and in fantasy. His inability to take care of the ball isn't bailed out by his offensive statistics, and so he isn't really a viable fantasy option. The only real value Smith has at this point is as a reserve quarterback in a two-quarterback league, and should only start if he has a favourable matchup.
