Ivory leads offense in touches

by Jim Cunningham | Mon, Sep 29th 12:07pm EDT

Chris Ivory led all Jets running backs in touches and total yards on Sunday against the Lions. He racked up 100 total yards from scrimmage on 17 carries and two catches.

Fantasy Impact:

Once again Ivory took control of the Jets backfield and made fantasy owners happy. Because of the presence of Chris Johnson he still isn't a top running back but he is a borderline RB2 and a must start flex option. Should Chris Johnson go down with an injury Ivory could become a top-15 running back in the run heavy Jets offense. He will continue to get most, if not all, of the goal line carries and even saw some playing time on third downs. Keep him in your lineup as long as he is healthy.
