Rams looking to activate Tre Mason for Week 5?

by Brian Tesch | Tue, Sep 30th 1:13pm EDT

In his Monday press conference, Head Coach Jeff Fisher stated that one of his priorities during the bye week was to "...get Tre Mason involved, not only more in the offense, but also more on special teams." When asked about Mason possibly being activated for Week 5, Fisher responded "We're working him in. He's doing a nice job on special teams right now, and so he's got a pretty good feel for what we're doing. There's always that chance, yes." (AL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Mason has been inactive through the Rams first 3 games of 2014, but its an encouraging sign that he hasn't been forgotten. Mason disappointed in the preseason, but he does have plus athleticism, and a lengthy college highlight-reel. If Mason can get on the field, he adds another layer of complexity to an already murky Ram backfield.
