Geno Smith replaced by Michael Vick at halftime

After a disastrous first half, the New York Jets finally made a change at quarterback, benching starter Geno Smith in favor of Michael Vick to start the second half against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday at Qualcomm Stadium. Smith entered the game on the hot seat after two straight poor performances. He was awful in the first half, completing only four of 12 passes for 27 yards and an interception, which equated to a 7.6 passer rating. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Geno Smith looked to have some promise as a backup quarterback in bigger leagues and two quarterback leagues this season - but this is a sign that fantasy players can no longer rely on the former West Virginia signal caller to produce this season.
