Fantasy Impact:

Terrance Williams, in his second year, has found a true niche in the Cowboys offense as a deep threat. This makes him valuable to both the Cowboys and fantasy owners alike. As the Cowboys move to a more run based offense, they need a player that will stretch the defense as teams load up the box to stop DeMarco Murray and the league leading rushing attack. Williams, who averages 15.6 yards per catch, is the perfect player to fit that need for the Cowboys. Fantasy owners also like Williams because he is tied for third in the NFL with five touchdown receptions. As noted in the article, though, Williams is still raw and makes critical mistakes like the drop at the 2 yard line yesterday that would have been an easy touchdown. As he continues to develop, fantasy owners will look to add Williams as a flex/WR2 option. For those that look at WIlliams as a must add player, remember that he had a very strong five week run last year within a strong yet unspectacular rookie season.
