Calvin Johnson likely to sit this weekend

For the third consecutive week Calvin Johnson (ankle) missed a Wednesday practice for the Detroit Lions. This is coming in the wake of a second consecutive clunker for Megatron where he was forced from the game early after aggravating the injury. Adam Schefter is now reporting that Calvin himself has acknowledged the ankle needs rest, a sentiment that has also been reiterated by his coaching staff. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Fantasy owners should make other plans for this weekend. It is clear Calvin is not 100% and hobbling around as a decoy on Sunday isn't going to help that. It seems like everyone in Detroit has figured this out as well and Calvin will be given at least this week off.
