Golden Tate fails to capitalize on opportunity

Golden Tate managed 7 catches for only 44 yards against the Vikings on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
The Lions controlled this game from start to finish but Tate still garnered 12 targets from Matthew Stafford. With Megatron sitting this was a prime opportunity for Tate to put up WR1 numbers but the whole Lions offense struggled to consistently move the ball and Tate turned his 12 targets into only 7 catches for 44 yards, a measly 6.3 yards per catch. There is still a good chance Calvin will miss another week nursing his ankle injury so Tate should still be on your radar as a high upside start for next week's game against a struggling Saints defense.
