Seahawks Offensive Coordinator forecasts heavier workload for Marshawn Lynch?

by Brian Tesch | Thu, Oct 16th 10:27am EDT

In his Wedensday press-conference, Seahawks Offensive Coordinator Darrell Bevell was quoted "The fantasy owners ... I'm not a fantasy owner, I don't care about anyone's (fantasy) points. But I do care about us winning the game. And Marshawn is a huge key for us winning the game. And we do -- and I -- have to do a better job of giving him the ball." (NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

In the two Seahawks losses, the Seahawks were held in the 40 play range, as the Chargers and Cowboys found ways to keep their offenses on the field for long periods of time. Bevell stated that the Seahawks want to run 60+ plays a game, but also emphasized that he must get Marshawn Lynch the ball. Look for a 15 touch floor for Marshawn the rest of the season. He is un-benchable no matter the opponent or format, and could represent a value in daily leagues this week.
