Sterling Shepard ‘unlikely’ to play versus Redskins

by Anthony Cervino | Giants Correspondent | Thu, Nov 23rd 1:39pm EST

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (migraine) is not expected to play in Week 12. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Dealing with the lingering symptoms of a migraine that held him out of last week’s victory over the Chiefs, Shepard is trending toward an inactive designation for Thursday’s game against Washington. In his anticipated absence, Roger Lewis and Tavarres King will both see an uptick in targets. However, even in a plus matchup, neither one are trustworthy fantasy options for Week 12. If desperate in deeper leagues, I’d roll out Lewis over King as his rapport with Eli Manning appears to be strongly intact.
