Quiet night for Vernon Davis

Vernon Davis had 2 catches for 21 yards. He could've had a better night, but he had a big drop that would've gone for 25 yards. After the drop, Vernon didn't see much action in the passing game.
Fantasy Impact:
Things aren't looking good for Vernon and his role in the 49ers' offense. When they were behind, they went to a 4 WR set and didn't feature Davis at all. With Stevie Johnson emerging in the pass game, I can see Vernon taking a back seat in this offense.
