Brandon Oliver officially back down to Earth after second straight week of sub par numbers
by Steven Miller | Sat, Oct 25th 11:11am EDT
RB Brandon Oliver was very ineffective Thursday night in Denver. Oliver had 13 carries for just 36 yards and had 7 receptions for 27 yards. San Diego was playing catch up for most of the night and couldn't establish a running game. (source)
Fantasy Impact:
With San Diego out of their game plan for most of the night, Oliver couldn't be utilized like he was in previous weeks. Next up in Week 9 is an early game in Miami next Sunday. The Dolphins defense is ranked 3rd in the league in rushing yards allowed. It could be tough sledding for Oliver while there is a chance Ryan Mathews and Donald Brown could be active for this game, too.
