Drew Brees finished Thursday's win against the Panthers going 24/34 for 297 yards and 1 TD. He also added 1 rushing TD, his first of the year.
Fantasy Impact:
It was a slow and ugly start for Brees. He was picked off and fumbled a few times before hitting his stride just before the half. Fantasy owners should feel relieved Brees was able to finish as strong as he did. Brees and the Saints get a nice break before hosting San Francisco in the comfort of the Superdome.
