Fantasy Impact:

According to ESPN Dallas reports, Brandon Weeden was in TV production meetings today, a sign that he will start on Sunday. Head coach Jason Garrett and owner Jerry Jones have both said that starter Tony Romo is a game time decision but judging by his performance after his injury on Monday, it would be best if he sits out a game. Weeden may not be the best option at quarterback, but at least he has started 20 games since coming into the league in 2012 and has thrown 24 touchdowns in those starts. More recently, Weeden looked solid in relief of Romo on Monday with 69 yards and a touchdown with a 67% completion percentage. He is strongest in the short passing game, average of 6.6 yards per attempt in his career, but he has only completed 55.9% passes in his career. Players like Jason Witten and the running backs DeMarco Murray, Joseph Randle, and Lance Dunbar stand to have good games if Weeden starts, as Weeden will try to make quicker decisions with the ball. This will hurt Terrance Williams and Dez Bryant, so owners should be weary of Tony Romo's status.
