Shane Vereen gets most snaps against the Broncos

The Broncos' defense is a tough one to run against and the Patriots’ running backs didn’t do anything to change that. Jonas Gray averaged 2.8 yards per carry and Shane Vereen only pitched in 2.6 yards per carry. Vereen made his mark in the receiving game with five catches for 38 yards and a touchdown, including a big catch on fourth down. (ESPN Boston)
Fantasy Impact:
Shane Vereen struggled against a tough Broncos run defense. He did catch five passes and scored a TD which made his fantasy owners happy. It still looks like his main role going forward will be as the third down and passing down back. His value is in PPR leagues.
