Avery Williamson signs with the Jets

The New York Jets have agreed to terms with free agent linebacker Avery Williamson to the tune of 3 years, $22.5 million with $16.5 million guaranteed.
Fantasy Impact:
He reportedly turned down a hefty contract from the Titans, the team he's been with for the last four years in order to enter free agency. For whatever reason, he chose to go to the Jets who are in the process of rebuilding, so it's unlikely he made this move with intentions on winning any time soon. Williamson is one of the better linebackers in the game and will help the Jets fill the void left by linebacker Demario Davis, who went to the Saints.
