James Starks sees big change in snap count from last year

James Starks has been in on 139 offensive plays for the Packers so far this year. That's 27.9 percent of total offensive plays for Starks, up from 19.8 percent last year. (ESPN)

Have you talked to an Eddie Lacy owner? Without knowing the numbers they could have told you that Starks has taken up a sizable chunk of work as the Packers try to emphasize the run game. Although, the change has mostly come at the expense of fan favorite John Kuhn, who served as Eddie Lacy's backup and third-down complement last year. This year Lacy and Starks have been handling those duties in tandem. Starks may never see week-to-week fantasy value unless Lacy is injured, but he makes a nice stash if owners are looking for a late-season wild card.
