Matthew Stafford welcomes the return of Calvin Johnson

by Dan Catterson | Rams Correspondent | Mon, Nov 10th 7:34am EST

Detroit Lions' quarterback Matthew Stafford looked like more the quarterback most people expected when drafting him, despite the relatively tough match-up against Miami. Stafford completed 25 of 40 passes for 280 yards and two touchdowns - including a 54-yard bomb to his favorite wide receiver Calvin Johnson. He also threw one pick. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Stafford played well with his top target back in action after being either "Out" or playing as a decoy the past four weeks. He looked Johnson's way a game-high 15 times but didn't forget about his other weapons either, targeting Golden Tate 13 times while also hitting Theo Riddick for the game-winning score late in the forth. Fantasy owners should be happy with the outcome and optimistic about Stafford remaining fantasy production.
