Newton pummeled in brutal loss to Eagles

Things continue to get worse for the Panthers offense, as they were buried by the Eagles defense Monday night. Cam Newton caught most of the beating, as he was sacked a career-high nine times. He posted a final stat line of 306 yards with 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions in the loss. (NFL.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The offense surrounding Newton simply isn't viable, and it's beginning to affect his fantasy output. Kelvin Benjamin is his sole beneficiary, as he found the rookie for two touchdowns vs. the Eagles. With his current offensive line and receiving corps, Newton is a last resort option at the QB position.
