Shonn Greene takes blame for goal line fumble

by Rickey Brooksher | Wed, Nov 12th 5:30pm EST

Tennessean.com writer Jim Wyatt reports Shonn Greene places the blame for his goal line fumble against the Ravens on himself. "I was just trying to push into the end zone, and I wasn't paying too much attention to protecting the football," Greene said. "It's a turnover in the red zone, and you can't have that. That's on me." Greene only played one more play in the game after his fumble. (Tennessean.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Greene's costly fumble on the opening drive of the game killed the positive momentum for the offense. His only fantasy value going into the game was the fact he received most of the goal line carries. Greene won't be easily depended on for goal line situations, but he can easily be dropped from any fantasy teams that have him on their roster. Greene is no longer a viable fantasy option in any situation.
