Teddy Bridgewater not a lock to make Jets' 2018 roster

by Anthony Cervino | Tue, Apr 24th 7:05pm EDT

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo doesn't believe New York Jets QB Teddy Bridgewater is a lock to make the team's 2018 roster. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Garafolo opened his report by stating that the Jets have a crowded QB depth chart, especially if they address the position early in Thursday's NFL Draft, which means Christian Hackenberg and/ or Bryce Petty could be on the move via trade or release. However, Hackenberg and Petty's name weren't the only ones mentioned. Bridgewater was also included in Garafolo's remarks citing the fact that he may not be fully healthy -- he is still recovering from his gruesome knee injury suffered in the 2016 preseason while he was still viewed the future of the Vikings. The Jets QB depth chart should look significantly different come the 2018 season opener.
