Vernon Davis struggles for production once again

Vernon Davis managed only one catch for seven yards as the 49ers knocked off the Giants Sunday. (NFL.com)
Fantasy Impact:
It wasn't for a lack of trying, as the 49ers even gave Davis a carry for 4 yards. Davis again is missing from any sort of production. Of note is that a shot was taken deep to a TE that wasn't Davis, as Kaepernick targeted Vance McDonald on a seam route. Next week is a favorable matchup, as Washington is towards the bottom of the league vs. Tight Ends. Then again, so are the Giants. If Davis doesn't produce next week, it's time to move on.
