Cordarrelle Patterson a non-factor again in loss to Green Bay

In what turned out to be yet another unproductive performance, Minnesota wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson caught a mere two passes for 18 yards in the Vikings' 24-21 loss to Green Bay on Sunday. Patterson was only targeted twice all game and wasn't used in the running game at all.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite his elite athletic abilities, Patterson has failed to turn his talent into production this season. Down the stretch last season the coaching staff made a point to get the ball in Patterson's hands near the line of scrimmage on a consistent basis. But this season, Norv Turner has encouraged his quarterbacks to spread the ball around to whoever is open and Patterson hasn't been effective without being force-fed the ball. In fact Patterson has been especially non-existent recently as he now has a total of five catches for 52 yards in his last three games. At this point it's hard to justify keeping the disappointing second-year wideout on your roster.
