Aaron Donald expects contract extension before training camp

Fantasy Impact:
Donald, the best defensive player in the NFL and reigning Defensive Player of the Year, finished as DT1 in 2017. Donald was upset enough last year about his contract to sit out the entire offseason and preseason, only reporting to the team one day before the regular season started. If the Rams finally give Donald the deal he's looking for, he'll report in time to get significant practice reps alongside (and develop chemistry with) free agent acquisition DT Ndamukong Suh. As scary as it sounds for the rest of the league, Donald could be even better in 2018 than he was in 2017.
