Le'Veon Bell

Will the real Le'Veon Bell handcuff please stand up?

In the wake of LeGarrette Blount's release and rebirth in New England, the RB depth chart behind Le'Veon Bell has grown by one more as Josh Harris was recently promoted to the Steelers 53 man roster from the practice squad. Harris, an undrafted rookie free agent, joins the Pittsburgh backfield behind bell cow back Bell and the third round rookie speedster rookie Dri Archer.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a tricky time for owners looking to handcuff stud fantasy RB Le'Veon Bell, as it's more likely that mighty mouse Dri Archer and the larger, more powerful Josh Harris would form a lightning and thunder tandem if Bell went down with injury. Keep in mind Archer is ahead in line for handcuff duties until we see what Josh Harris has to show on the field. For what it's worth, Coach Mike Tomlin said he's expecting a bigger role for Archer moving forward. Josh Harris is a larger, more powerful back, nearly 6 feet and 210 pounds. If Bell missed significant time, we'd likely see Harris take on a lead role with Archer changing the pace with his evasiveness and speed.
