Saquon Barkley inks rookie deal with Giants

The New York Giants have signed No. 2 overall pick Saquon Barkley to a four-year $31.2 million dollar contract that is fully guaranteed. Barkley receives $20.6 million in the form of a signing bonus and the deal will include the standard fifth-year option. (Ian Rapoport via Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Now signed, sealed, and delivered, Barkley's three-down skill set is going to set him up to make an immediate impact as both an explosive runner and dynamic receiver. Dave Gettleman didn't invest the second pick on a running back to be a part-time player. Barkley is an intriguing talent who should command 300 touches as a rookie, making him worthy of first-round consideration in any format.
