Ben Roethlisberger hurts hand in rough Week 13 loss

by Isaac Leicht | Sun, Nov 30th 5:54pm EST

Ben Roethlisberger hit his throwing hand on the helmet of New Orleans Saints linebacker Curtis Lofton in the first quarter and was seen shaking his hand thereafter several times. In classic Big Ben fashion, he stayed in the game. It's very debatable whether he was 100%.

Fantasy Impact:

Ben Roethlisberger inflated his fantasy numbers as he struggled trying to come back against Drew Brees and the Saints, finishing 32-of-58 passing with 435 yards and two touchdowns. Ben also threw two interceptions and had several other passes that could've been picked off, probably around six. Big Ben isn't an every week auto QB1 in fantasy but still has a ton of upside. You could do worse. Outside of the elite QB1 tier of Luck, Peyton, Brees and whatnot, Ben's a viable fantasy option. Keep an eye on injury reports to see how his injury progresses, as he's been known to keep playing hurt to the detriment of his stats and those around him.
