Nick Foles' shoulder injury believed to be minor

Eagles quarterback Nick Foles left Thursday's preseason game with a right shoulder strain, but further tests on Friday revealed that the injury is not believed to be significant. The Eagles do not expect a prolonged recovery. (ProFootballTalk)

Foles went down hard after being sacked by Adrian Clayborne and immediately left the game. Since the injury was to his throwing shoulder, the initial concern was that the injury was significant and would keep him out for an extended period of time. It appears the Eagles and Foles avoided the worst case scenario, however, which is important considering the uncertainty regarding the health of Carson Wentz.
