Ryan Tannehill

Unbelievable completion percentage for Dolphins' quarterback

by Jeffrey Lee Colavecchio | Titans Correspondent | Wed, Dec 3rd 5:58pm EST

QB Ryan Tannehill extended his consecutive games streak with at least a 70 percent completion rate for the fifth-straight game (71.4 percent tonight). He is the only quarterback in the franchise to accomplish that feat and was the only player to do it in four-straight games. After Monday night's performance, Tannehill is the only player in the NFL this season to record five consecutive games with a 70-or-more completion percentage. Additionally, his seven games completing 70-or-more percent of his passes this season are tied for the most in the NFL this season with Saints QB Drew Brees and Chargers QB Philip Rivers. Fantasy Impact:

Tannehill came through for his team when he needed to, but unfortunately he probably didn't come through for your FF team. With no touchdown passes or runs from the QB Miami was lucky to leave New York with a win. His completion percentage is impressive and bodes well for the offense, his progress, and interested FF prognosticators. Baltimore has been giving up some big plays as of late, so next Sunday, Tannehill and Co. will get back on track at the friendly confines of Sunlife stadium to the tune of 250 yards passing, two touchdown passes, and one rushing touchdown.
