DeSean Jackson out against Rams

by Jonathan Ebanks | Sun, Dec 7th 1:13am EST

Washington Redskins' WR DeSean Jackson did not practice all week and will reportedly miss Sunday's game against the Rams. Jackson suffered a bruised leg bone during the team's loss to Indianapolis last week and was listed as questionable since. Jackson currently has 47 catches for 942 yards on the season, with a league-high average of 20 yards per catch. (ProFootballTalk.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Big blow to 'Skins QB Colt McCoy and company, not to mention Jackson's fantasy owners. However, coach Jay Gruden did say that if Jackson wasn't 100 percent, he wouldn't play. The team gains nothing by putting their star receiver at risk anyway. This could be teammate Pierre Garcon's coming out party though, so if he's available and you need a receiver, then it might not be a bad idea to pick up Garcon and give him a whirl. Garcon will be a WR3 this week as Washington's main wideout.
