Robert Griffin III

Robert Griffin III looks decent in Week 15

by Scott Ellinwood | Sun, Dec 14th 4:52pm EST

Redskins QB Robert Griffin III, benched for ineffective play in Week 14, returned to the lineup against the Giants after starter Colt McCoy was hurt. Griffin looked better than he has in recent weeks, completing 18 of 27 pass attempts for 236 yards and a touchdown despite not entering the game until the end of the first quarter. Griffin also added 46 yards on the ground and had a rushing touchdown nullified on a controversial replay decision to end the first half.

Fantasy Impact:

Griffin obviously has no fantasy value in 2014, but owners in keeper and dynasty leagues should monitor the situation in Washington. If Griffin gets another opportunity in Week 16 and looks good against Philadelphia, or even if HC Jay Gruden doesn't return to Washington in 2015, Griffin still has some long-term value.
