Mike Wallace finally breaks century mark

by Reginald James | Mon, Dec 15th 1:49am EST

Mike Wallace led all receivers in Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots catching five passes for 104 yards and one touchdown. It was his best game of the season, and the first time he has passed 100 yards this season. He and Tannehill also hooked up with the longest reception of the season: a 50-yard strike to start the first offensive series. Right before the first half ended, the duo scored on a 32-yard connection - the longest of the season by a Dolphins receiver.

Fantasy Impact:

Wallace's breakout day hopefully helped surprised owners who still have active rosters. They certainly hoped for more yardage days close to this when they drafted Wallace. He still hasn't scored more than one touchdown in a game this season, If only Patriot's undrafted rookie Malcolm Butler could matchup with Wallace until the end of the season: that's who Wallace burned for his big plays of the day.
