Marquess Wilson grabs his first NFL touchdown

by Rob Schwarz, Jr. | Tue, Dec 16th 12:24pm EST

On a night where QB Jay Cutler completed only 15 passes, Marquess Wilson scored his first NFL touchdown. Wilson had three catches for 16 yards on five targets. His touchdown catch was a one-yard catch from the goal-line.

Fantasy Impact:

The Bears had high hopes for Marquess Wilson going into the season. A broken clavicle before the season started set him back. However, with Brandon Marshall sidelined, Wilson has WR4 value with WR3 upside. The problem with Wilson is the poor production from the Bears offense as a whole. Wilson is a speed guy; to have three catches for 16 yards against a bad Saints defense shows how the Bears' play-calling is mismanaging Wilson's talents. Wilson is too risky to play during playoff and championship weeks. Add him to your watchlist for next year.
