Terrance Williams could have an opportunity if DeMarco Murray sits

With the Cowboys using more 3 WR sets if DeMarco Murray sits, Williams may be able to find his way in the passing game with isolation routes. (Dallas Morning News)

Fantasy Impact:

Williams has not had more than two catches in a game since Week 8 and has been displaced by Cole Beasley as the second option at WR; he needs to find a way to be a part of the offense in Week 16 and Murray's injury could help. If Murray is out, Tony Romo may throw in excess of 30 times, something he has only done four times this year, and that may give Williams a chance to make an impact. Williams has averaged five targets, 2.5 catches, 52.5 receiving yards and scored two touchdowns in games where Romo has thrown more than 30 times in 2014; each of these statistics are better than his seasonal averages and Williams has been very good in isolated coverage this year. He will not be worth a look for fantasy purposes but could have his best game in a couple months.
