by Alex Johnson | Chiefs Correspondent | Wed, Dec 12th 11:26pm EST

Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones recorded a sack for the ninth consecutive game this season in Sunday’s overtime win over the Ravens. Since sacks became an official stat in 1982, five players have recorded a sack in nine straight games but Jones is the first to do it in a single season. (ProFootballTalk)

Fantasy Impact:

After failing to record a sack in the first four games of the year, Jones has totaled 11.5 since. He will look to extend the streak against Phillip Rivers and the Chargers on Thursday night.
